During the course of the year on live broadcasts, various things happen, some of which are very rare events that are usually immortalized in various ways, creating an award for these moments is one of them. The Awards were held in 2023 for the best events of the year on the yayahuz live stream.
With the initial goal in mind, we decided to separate the voting into categories. Thus, when clicking on vote, the user had to choose from the options what they thought was most special that year. Seventeen categories were chosen, with a single vote registration, where voters could choose from the best movie to the best cosplay, best game, or best stream moderator.
After a week, community members chose the best event in each category, and the day to show the results arrived. For this, a page was created to show the first, second, and third place of each category, as well as their number of votes. This was shown during a live broadcast on the streamer's channel. yayahuz. The complete content is available with the chat. To access it, just click here.
To manage all the content of the awards, I developed a panel to completely customize the event, including category management, enabling the verification of votes, image changes, videos, titles, descriptions, collaborators, among other things. The project was developed using Next.js, Chakra UI, and Node.
With the experience of creating and managing this application, I was able to have a real-time project accessed by multiple people simultaneously, creating a voting system for each category and item, as well as creating a complete management system. The project was a unique and very fun experience. I conducted various forms of testing before the project went into production, which brought more security and ensured that the event occurred without problems during its presentation.
